Todd Engineering Completes £750K WFEL Project for Military Boxer Program

Todd Engineering proudly announces the successful completion of a £750,000 turnkey project for WFEL, enhancing the UK's defence capabilities. This comprehensive initiative involved the installation of the Titan CV series spraybooth, a state-of-the-art, 26-meter long, two-stage, drive-through paint facility designed for optimal efficiency and superior quality outputs.

The Titan CV series is equipped with high, mid, and low-level lighting, ensuring flawless application and meticulous inspection capabilities. Its advanced air handling provides a controlled environment, crucial for military-grade paint applications. Additionally, a centralized inspection pit with comprehensive extraction systems significantly enhances safety and operational efficiency during under-vehicle inspections.

The project also included a fully equipped plant room featuring an ABAC air compressor and a WORKY dust extraction system, fulfilling all operational requirements with cutting-edge technology. These facilities support the main spraybooth in maintaining top-tier performance and reliability.

Alex Taylor, a manager at Todd Engineering, commented on the project's significance, "Being part of the Boxer program has been a tremendous responsibility and achievement. The successful delivery of such a complex project under tight deadlines highlights our commitment to excellence and positions us as leaders in the defence industry. We continue to engage in multiple projects, pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve."

From initial planning to final installation, Todd Engineering managed every aspect of this significant project, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions tailored for the defence sector. This successful completion not only adds another large contract to Todd Engineering’s portfolio but also plays a pivotal role in supporting the UK’s military readiness by enhancing the production capabilities of WFEL’s Boxer armoured vehicles.
