Rhodes Accident Repair Centre – Leading the Way in Carbon Neutrality
Rhodes Accident Repair Centre in Rugeley is celebrating the launch of its new carbon-neutral site, showcasing the very latest in sustainable automotive technology. As a long-standing customer of Todd Engineering, Rhodes has made the progressive decision to opt for an all-electric setup, designed not only to enhance productivity but also to significantly reduce environmental impact.
The facility features 2 Hades preparation booths and a centralised Zeus spray booth, equipped with twin-loading roller shutter doors. This advanced setup is complemented by all the energy-saving options available for the Zeus, maximizing operational efficiency. The site also boasts a paint mixing room with centralized controls for the entire setup, along with a cutting-edge compressor to support day-to-day operations.
In keeping with their commitment to sustainability, the Rhodes site is also powered by a solar setup with impressive battery storage, ensuring the facility runs on renewable energy while reducing costs and reliance on the grid.
Freddie, the Bodyshop Manager at Rhodes Accident Repair Centre, shared his enthusiasm: “Our new site is a game-changer for us. The Todd Engineering equipment has been instrumental in achieving our carbon-neutral objectives. The Zeus and Hades booths are incredibly efficient, and the energy-saving features have noticeably reduced our energy usage. The solar power system with battery storage not only supports our sustainability goals but also provides long-term cost savings."
Rhodes Accident Repair Centre’s new Rugeley facility sets a benchmark for the future of environmentally responsible vehicle repairs, combining cutting-edge technology with a steadfast commitment to sustainability. Todd Engineering is proud to have partnered with Rhodes in realizing this visionary project, exemplifying how innovation and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
